Additional Objections Allowed

The Kerala High Court held that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) possesses the power to permit additional objections and documents in proceedings under Section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. 

It ruled that the Tribunal erred in holding that no such power existed under the NCLT Rules, and that denying the corporate debtor an opportunity to place additional pleadings on record violated the principles of natural justice.
