Government Issues Corrigenda to GST Rate Notifications

The Central Government has issued multiple corrigenda to certain GST rate notifications issued on April 30, 2026 under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST), Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), and Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) laws. 

The corrigenda primarily rectify the tariff classification reference from “2202 99 90” to “2202 91 00” and also correct drafting inconsistencies appearing in the IGST notification text.
