HC dismisses for non appearance

The Karnataka High Court, by order dated 9 July 2026, dismissed the Customs Statutory Appeal filed by Shri Nazhar Ahmed against the Commissioner of Customs. 

As there was no representation for the appellant despite the matter being called for hearing, the Court dismissed the appeal for want of prosecution, leaving the order of the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) undisturbed.
