Mumbai Court Verdict Ends Telecom Tower CENVAT Dispute

The Bombay High Court dismissed the Revenue's appeal challenging the availability of CENVAT credit on telecom towers, shelters, racks and allied equipment. 

The Revenue withdrew the appeal after acknowledging that the Supreme Court, in Bharti Airtel Ltd. v. Commissioner of Central Excise [(2024) 19 SCC 1], had already settled the issue in favour of telecom operators.
