Norms for GST registration streamlined

India has been moving at a good pace in “ease of doing business”. One of the major fault lines so far in the recent past has been the very concept of obtaining GST registration. There have been too many queries which are out of syllabus from the Revenue authorities so much that they have in many occasions asked for Domicile status of the directors for GST registration. The CBIC has been quick to address the situation by release of Instruction dated 17th April in ensuring that streamlining of GST registration is undertaken and has said that unwarranted clarifications cannot be sough for by Officer.
